You know about 2 of the recent weekends…
Embo’s 19th was also recently, a few weeks ago. It was which was fun.
The weekend following that saw Ron’s mate’s “box social” thing. Then Sam’s (who seems to be at every party I go to!) 18th party, and then later on, a FullSizePoolTable.
The weekend after this was Peanut’s Party.
[it’s another long one, but has to last a while, and covers a lot, so please bear with it. Hehe, bear!]
So now, dear reader [oh the cliché!], you are almost up to date, but for the most recent weekends. I shall list the weekends in chronological order, which, in this case, means: order of ascending goodness.
The Friday was the date of Julie’s 18th party. I imagine that there were some very sore heads the next morning… Unfortunately, this coincided with Ice Skating by some other people, and I missed some funny times…
The Saturday was the night of the Ben Lee/Missy Higgins concert at AdelaideUni. Denley, Shaun, JAmes, Ali, and I went to go eavesdrop. A little later on, this became a bit boredom-y, and it was approaching Shotz happy hour time, so then Denley and I went to Mansions to meet up with Sammwah and Co. The ‘co.’ was: Anita, Dubs, Elle, Jo, and Steph [alphabetical ordering!
They were drinking PungentJugsOfCocktails. Denley and I split a jug of beer with some guy from the concert eavesdropping, and were then gifted OddCocktails, which taste, well, odd, and make your tongue become funny coloured if you drink them.
THEN!!! The next weekend was rather good too. The Friday night saw some people going to the casino for proper-snickers-genuine-peanut-satisfaction-happy-half-hour. And getting told off for having too many beers on the table for too few people (and only two people were actually having drinks).
The happy casino goers were: Denley! Shaun! Tom! So-Lou! And then JAmes arrived later. I had to depart as to fetch the automobile to transport myself to the next thing:
Jo’s Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There were many many many many many people who attended!!! It was fun night! Unfortunately I had to return home, skipping MaccasBreakfast, lest I turned into a pumpkin.
The party was coolfun, even though it rained. There was WizzFizz.
During a particularly heavy spurt of rain, all four of the Three Muskateers (as they had been aptly labelled elsewhere), being Simon, Shaun, So-Lou, and myself [I was the odd one out in the names department, not starting with an “S”].
We drank lemon squash whilst listening to cool music in the pouring rain and chatting! It was fun! (in simon's car)
Then it was almost pumpkin o’clock so I had to leave.
Thanks for the party though, Jo!!!!
SATURDAY came next, as it usually does. There was little much done on this day, except for homework, and chatting on msn for a bit. Well, actually, it was the night of Fletch’s party, too.
Sunday saw Jo (the OTHER Jo) having a bbq, which was good to catch up with people. Raf injured himself ever so slightly scootering down the Big Hill, whilst Denley escaped unscathed.
Sunday night was the Taste Of Chaos concert thing, which was noisy and tiring. Killswitch Engage was probably my favourite part, and The Used my least favourite (Please don’t shoot me Cait!! They just didn’t play the songs I really like). The other bands I didn’t know really much at all beforehand, but they were all pretty good. The acoustic acts too.
Then we went to MacDonalds on West Terrace, and witnessed some amusing LateNightPeople, and played with happymeal toys.
THEN
It was the next week. And therefore, logically, THE NEXT WEEKEND!
Then it was FRIDAY. There was uni, and so on, for some people, and then some BZFlags, and then some GoingToCasino for mega happy halfhour.
And then back to le Bar.
I went back to the casino with Janelle so she could meet her parents. She was there so I wouldn’t get scared/eaten-by-monsters on the scary dark path, which was good. We met her parents at some food place, and they kindly bought me a Pie Floater, which floated, and we tried verimuch to engage in soberconversation, but alas! Janelle had old lady shoes.
Then I met with Denley and Tate at the Exeter, and was introduced to two of their new friends. Then I caught the train home, because it was ONLY ONE MORE SLEEP UNTIL SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saturday…
Even though it wasn’t QUITE Halloween yet, it was the night of So-Lou’s HALLOWEEN PARTY!!!!! Their house was decorated all Halloween-y and cool and balloony and spidery and batty and people were all dressed up for it! Quite a few many people turned up over the course of the night, and there was also: a karaoke machine, fancy lights, and a fog machine! It was so cool! There was even a scary jack o lantern cake! I met lots of new people that night, although if I saw them out of costume I mightn’t recognise them! Tee hee! And Sally, who seems to be seldom seen by me, came for a bit! Her hair is black now!
There was a bit of tequila, and after said tequila, So-Lou insisted upon walking across the ‘log’ across the swimming pool. Many times. And then some more. And once more for luck.
There was also WIZZ FIZZ, so I had a blue tongue, and Hubba Bubba, so I tried to blow some bubbles too!!!!
I was introduced to Sophie’s ExtraSpecial birthday present, which was a shiny statchoo of Alien, from the self titled movie of the same name. And we saw her mega huge artworks of Gollum, Arnie, and Crazy Jack, which were art’d by her.
There happened to be another Tom there, except he was actually a devil wearing a people suit, but on the inside.
EVENTUALLY, after much karaoke singing, and merriment, people started to leaving, and cos of daylight savings, it was actually 1 hour later than it should have been. Then, Edward suggested a game of monopoly which So-Lou and I won by default-squared!! It was a very short lived game.
Shaun was playing some uno against himself.
Then we decided that it was approximately time to get some sleep. Poor ol’ Kelly had to get up early for work :S
Then, we woke up later, and Simon drived JAmes home, and Shaun and Sophie and Ali and Me ated some rice bubbles and weetbix breakfast, and watched some telly-vision. We were still tired after mega-fun-happy-chocolate-sing-fun-party-spooky party.
Did I mention that there was Nightmare Before Christmas and Lost Boys music?
Then, kindly parents came to give a lift home so not have to walk.
It was now officially Sunday. Later in the evening, I went to assist with the spectating of Emma’s netball, and then the convoy to Maccas to talk and consume mass quantities of mac. Mmmmm…
Follow this with ActualHalloween = free pool Monday, and I now dub October to be Party-tober.
Hopefully after exams time, there will be more fun et games!
Signing off!
Tom

Many thanks go to the party holders. Your efforts are greatly appreciated! Also, thanks to Jack, the Pumpkin King for holding Halloween again this year. It was a good reason for a party.
